NEWARK, Calif., November 29, 2023 -SMARTsemi, a division of SMART Modular Technologies, Inc., provider of commercial, industrial, and wide/auto-grade Tier-1 memory components and cards for embedded applications, announces the addition of Automotive Grade DDR3 SDRAMS to its catalog. The new 2Gb components are available in x8 and x16 bus widths at 1866 Mbps bandwidth and 1.35V or 1.5V voltage. SMARTsemi automotive grade devices are tested to -40oC to +105oC and certified for AEC-Q100 Class 2 applications.
The components packaged in industry-standard 78- or 96-ball grid array packages, ready to embed on system motherboards. Devices are shipped in trays. Class 2 applications include infotainment systems, navigation controls, driver settings and other systems location inside the passenger cabin.
