SMARTsemi Expands Embedded Multimedia Card (eMMC) Product Line with High-Capacity Solutions in Commercial and Industrial Temperature Ranges

NEWARK, Calif., July 28, 2023 -SMARTsemi, a division of SMART Modular Technologies, Inc., provider of commercial, industrial, and wide-grade/automotive Tier-1 memory components for embedded applications, announces the addition of high-capacity, commercial and industrial eMMCs to its portfolio of memory components for long-life embedded applications. SMARTsemi eMMC components are now available in densities from 4GB to 128GB.
The new TLC NAND Flash devices start at 8GB up to 128GB and are available in standard 153-ball grid array packages. They are offered in industrial grade (-40oC to +85oC) and an extended commercial grade (-25oC to +85oC). As is the case for the existing product range of eMMC devices, free samples and technical information, including specifications, reliability reports, materials composition reports, RoHS and REACH certificates, and ECAD models are available online to help expedite your qualification of this device.
SMARTsemi eMMC components are utilized in long-life applications, including networking, industrial robotics, medical equipment, home electronics, and defense electronics.
